TLDR
JEGE Inc. (Delaware, 2000, ceased 2018) and JEGE LLC (USVI, 2012, sold 2019) are two separate legal entities sharing the "JEGE" name. Together they held the Boeing 727-31, two Gulfstream aircraft, and trace the corporate migration from Delaware to the U.S. Virgin Islands — the same jurisdictional shift visible across the broader Epstein entity network.
Two Entities
The name "JEGE" appears throughout the Epstein corpus — in FAA (Federal Aviation Administration — the U.S. agency that registers and regulates aircraft) registrations, FedEx shipping references, and corporate filings. What is not immediately obvious is that "JEGE" refers to two different legal entities with overlapping but distinct histories.
JEGE Inc. was filed in Delaware on September 7, 2000 (Company #3284812) with Corporation Trust Company as registered agent at 1209 North Orange Street, Wilmington — a standard Delaware incorporation address used by thousands of shell entities (OpenCorporates, n.d.). Officers included Jeffrey Epstein as CEO, Darren Indyke, and Lawrence Visoski. The entity ceased operations on April 11, 2018.
JEGE LLC was filed in the USVI on October 19, 2012 with Epstein as President and Visoski as Manager (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a). This entity operated from the Red Hook Quarter address cluster in St. Thomas.
The two entities overlapped for nearly six years, from October 2012 to April 2018.
The Aircraft
JEGE Inc. held the most recognizable aircraft in the Epstein fleet:
- Boeing 727-31 (tail number N908JE) — the aircraft commonly referred to in media reporting as the "Lolita Express." This is the large commercial-type jet that appeared in the most widely circulated flight log records (FAA Registry, n.d.).
- Gulfstream IV (tail number N120JE) — a smaller business jet used for shorter routes.
JEGE LLC held:
- Gulfstream G-IV (tail number N212JE, later re-registered as N120JE in August 2017) — the replacement aircraft for the fleet's Gulfstream operations (FAA Registry, n.d.).
The tail number recycling between entities is significant. N120JE was originally on the Gulfstream IV held by JEGE Inc. When JEGE LLC's Gulfstream G-IV was re-registered as N120JE in 2017, the same tail number appeared on a different airframe under a different legal entity. FAA records track these changes, but casual observers — including journalists reviewing flight logs — could confuse the two aircraft (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026b).
The Pre-Arrest Sale
In June 2019, JEGE LLC was sold to Thomas Huff along with the Gulfstream G-IV (Hager, 2019). This sale occurred approximately one month before Epstein's arrest on July 6, 2019. Huff subsequently sued the Epstein estate over "stigma damage" to the aircraft — a legal claim that the aircraft's association with Epstein reduced its market value.
The timing of the sale is notable. JEGE Inc. had already ceased operations in April 2018. JEGE LLC's sale in June 2019 effectively liquidated the last active aviation entity before the arrest. Whether this represented normal asset management or pre-arrest positioning is a matter of interpretation, but the pattern of entity cessation followed by asset sale followed by arrest is documented in the corporate records.
FedEx References
Five FedEx reference fields in the shipping corpus contain JEGE identifiers: "2 ENGINE JEGE," "WON3286 JEGE," "JEGE PAPERWORK COMPS," "JEGE PLANE," and the tail number N908JE (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026c). These references confirm that third-party FedEx shipments — billed to Epstein's account — were used for aircraft maintenance logistics. Engine parts, paperwork, and components were shipped using the same FedEx billing accounts that handled personal and office shipments.
The OCR (optical character recognition — text-recognition software used to convert scanned documents into searchable text) quality on these references varies. "JEGE" appears cleanly in most records, but surrounding text is often degraded. The reference "WON3286 JEGE" likely contains a work order number, suggesting integration between the aviation maintenance schedule and the shipping logistics.
The Migration Pattern
The JEGE Inc. to JEGE LLC transition mirrors a pattern visible across the entire Epstein corporate network. Delaware entities (incorporated in the early 2000s) gave way to USVI entities (incorporated around 2011-2012). NES LLC changed its address to USVI. Southern Trust was incorporated in the USVI. JEGE followed the same path: Delaware to USVI, with a period of overlap before the older entity ceased (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a).
This migration concentrated the corporate infrastructure in a jurisdiction offering a special tax break from the U.S. Virgin Islands government (a 90% income tax exemption through the EDC program), less aggressive regulatory oversight, and geographic proximity to Little St. James Island. The aviation entities specifically benefited from USVI location — St. Thomas's Cyril E. King Airport served as the hub for inter-island flights to Little St. James.
Current Status
N908JE — the Boeing 727 — is currently held by Jet Assets Inc., registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming (FAA Registry, n.d.). This is a Wyoming shell company with no publicly available officer information. The aircraft that flew as "JEGE PLANE" in FedEx references and carried passengers documented in 4,286 flight log entries has been transferred to an entity specifically designed to obscure ownership.
