TLDR
457 Madison Avenue Floor 4, located in the landmark Villard Houses, served as the operational hub for both of Epstein's FedEx accounts (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a). NYSG LLC originated 199 shipments from this address between 2000 and 2005, while the mansion at 9 East 71st Street -- Epstein's most famous property -- generated zero shipping activity. The logistics operation was deliberately separated from the residence.
The Villard Houses
The Villard Houses are a cluster of six brownstone mansions built in 1884 on Madison Avenue, now incorporated into the Lotte New York Palace Hotel. The fourth floor of 457 Madison Avenue was leased commercial space -- not Epstein-owned property. Yet this rented office was the operational center for the entire domestic shipping network (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a).
Both of Epstein's FedEx accounts listed this address. Account 1144-2081-6, registered to "Jeffrey E Epstein," and account 2292-07504, registered to "NYSG LLC," both used 457 Madison Avenue Floor 4 as their origin. Every package that shipped under either account number traces back to this single location (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026c).
NYSG LLC
New York Strategy Group LLC was formed on January 13, 2000, as a New York Domestic LLC (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026b). Corporate filings describe it as a financial advisory firm serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals with assets exceeding one billion dollars. The Wexners were among its billed clients. The entity is now inactive, and its DOS ID remains unconfirmed -- the New York Department of State web interface was inaccessible during our research attempts.
From the FedEx records, NYSG LLC originated 199 shipments over the five-year period captured in the corpus (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a). The entity's known associates include Darren Indyke, Lauren Kwintner (a New York-licensed attorney whose name text extraction rendered as "Lauren Kwine"), Jeffrey Schantz, Harry Beller, and Juan Alessi, Epstein's Palm Beach house manager. Larry Morrison, identified as office staff at 457 Madison Avenue, appears in FedEx reference fields as "LMORRISON" on shipments to New York Strategy Group, confirming his operational role at the address (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026d).
Zero Shipments from the Mansion
One of the more telling data points in the FedEx corpus is an absence. 9 East 71st Street -- the Herbert N. Straus House, Epstein's Manhattan mansion, and the most famous address associated with him -- generated zero FedEx shipments (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a). Not one package in the entire 2,894-shipment dataset originated from or was addressed to the residence.
This means the logistics operation was deliberately routed through the commercial office, not the residence. The separation is functionally significant. It meant that FedEx drivers, tracking systems, and invoice records all pointed to a nondescript office suite in a hotel complex rather than to the townhouse that was already attracting scrutiny. Whether this separation was designed for privacy, operational efficiency, or both, the effect was the same: the shipping paper trail led to Madison Avenue, not 71st Street.
International Reach
The NY office was not limited to domestic shipments. FedEx records show packages sent to London (addressed to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, with the reference code "LESLEY"), Paris (to Nissan Nissan at the interior design firm Alberto Pinto), and Milan (to an address at Piazza XXV Aprile) (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026d). The Manhattan office functioned as a global logistics node, coordinating international shipments alongside the domestic routes to Palm Beach, Zorro Ranch, and St. Thomas.
The Other Office
575 Lexington Avenue Floor 4 served a different function entirely. This was the registered address for Nine East 71st Street Corp. (dissolved in 2015) and DKI PLLC, Darren Indyke's law practice (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026b). It was also the address for HBRK Associates, the entity through which Richard Kahn received $3.74 million in wire transfers. But 575 Lexington appears to have been a virtual office -- a registered address for corporate filings and mail, not a staffed operational space. No FedEx shipping activity originates from this address (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a).
The distinction matters. 457 Madison Avenue was where people worked and packages moved. 575 Lexington Avenue was where entities were registered. The two addresses served complementary functions in the corporate architecture: one operational, one administrative.
J. Epstein & Company
457 Madison Avenue had history with Epstein before NYSG LLC was formed. J. Epstein & Company, Epstein's earlier consultancy, also used this address as its registered office (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026b). The continuity of location across entity transitions -- J. Epstein & Company giving way to NYSG LLC at the same address -- suggests the office was a fixed point in an otherwise fluid corporate structure. Entities came and went, but the fourth floor of the Villard Houses remained.
What the Address Reveals
The FedEx data transforms 457 Madison Avenue from a line on a corporate filing into a documented operational hub. One hundred ninety-nine shipments over five years, international destinations, named staff in the reference fields, and a deliberate separation from the 71st Street residence -- this is not an address of convenience. It is a command center (PAPER TRAIL Project, 2026a).
The fact that it was leased space in a hotel complex, rather than a purpose-built facility, is itself informative. Leased offices leave lighter footprints than owned properties. When the lease ends, the landlord has no obligation to preserve records, grant access to investigators, or answer questions about former tenants.
